Komodo and Flores Tour 7 Days 6 Nights

The Komodo Dragon is only found in Komodo National Park and in the
northern part of Flores Island, Indonesia. Within Komodo National Park, there
are five islands where the dragons live: Komodo Island, Rinca Island, Padar,
Nunca Kode, and Gili Motang. The most visited islands to see them are Rinca and
Komodo Island. Besides trekking in the park, visitors can also enjoy diving and
snorkeling, making it a complete tour combination to discover Flores Island,
famous for its exotic culture, nature, and the way of life of its people.
Kelimutu is one of the most intriguing natural beauties on the island. This
lake can change color at any time, ranging from black to white and red. It’s
also incredible to see traditional houses in villages such as Bena Village in
Ngada Regency, Wologai in Ende Regency, and Wae Rebo village in Manggarai
Regency. People on this island warmly welcome foreigners they meet.
Tour Program
Day 1 : Ende Airport - Moni
Upon your arrival at Ende airport, a guide will pick you up and drive you to Moni village for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Moni - Kelimutu Lake - Wologai Village - Blue Stone - Bajawa Hotel
Early in the morning at 4:00 a.m., you will visit Kelimutu Three Crater Lakes with their distinct colors. Drive to the parking area from your hotel, which takes around 45 minutes. Afterward, start walking to the top of Kelimutu volcano to see the amazing crater lakes and incredible sunrise. Descend to the parking area and drive back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, continue to see the typical traditional village of Wologai, which belongs to the Lio ethnic group in Ende Regency. Drive to the Blue Stone in Nangapenda for lunch. The last stop will be in Bajawa for an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Bajawa - Bena Village - Aimere Arak Distillation - Rana Mese Lake - Ruteng
After breakfast at the hotel in Bajawa, you will drive to Bena Village, a megalithic village from the Ngada clan. Continue driving to Aimere to see Arak distillation from palm fibers, where you can taste various strengths of Arak. After that, head to Ruteng town with a stop at Rana Mese Lake.
Day 4 : Ruteng - Spider Web Rice Field - Labuan Bajo
Drive to the Spider Web Rice Field in Cancar, a system of land division for the Manggaraian people. Afterward, continue to Labuan Bajo for an overnight stay.
Day 5 : Labuan Bajo - Kelor Island - Menjerite Island - Kalong Island
Our driver will pick you up at the hotel in Labuan Bajo and transfer you to the harbor to board a wooden boat sailing to Kelor Island. Here, you will trek to the top of the island to witness beautiful isles around. Continue to Menjerite for snorkeling and then head to Kalong Island to witness flying foxes coming out from mangrove trees at sunset.
Day 6 : Padar Island - Komodo Island - Pink Beach - Manta Point
Early in the morning, sail to Padar Island and hike to the top to see impressive scenery. Continue to Komodo Island to see the Komodo dragon and other wildlife. A ranger will guide you during the trek. After hiking, head to Pink Beach for relaxation, sunbathing, and snorkeling. Then continue to Taka Makasar for snorkeling to find manta rays (not guaranteed).
Day 7 : Manta Point - Siaba Island - Kanawa Island - Labuan Bajo
While sailing to Siaba Island, enjoy breakfast on the boat. Siaba Island is known for being home to turtles, which you might see during snorkeling. Sail to Labuan Bajo with a stop at Kanawa Island for more snorkeling and swimming.
