Komodo Fullday Tour
The Komodo Full Day Tour is an option for guests who do not wish to stay overnight on a wooden boat or for those who have limited time during their vacation. We offer this tour using a speed boat to cover all the highlights in Komodo National Park and its surroundings. The tour includes a visit to Komodo Island to see the Komodo Dragons, combined with snorkeling activities at various spots.
Tour Program
Starting Point
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel at 06:30 and take you to the pier, where we will begin sailing to Padar Island. On this island, you will hike to the viewpoint overlooking the beaches. The trek can be quite steep, so it is recommended for visitors without conditions such as asthma or heart issues. After trekking on this island, we will continue to the long pink beach for snorkeling, sunbathing, and swimming. The pink hue of the beach comes from pieces of broken red coral reefs mixed with white sand.
Spot 2
Next, we’ll head to Komodo Island for a trek to see the Komodo Dragons and other wildlife such as Timor deer and a variety of birds like the white-crested cockatoo, drongo, and green imperial pigeon.
Spot 3
There are three trekking options on this island: a short walk of 2 km taking around 45 minutes, a medium trek of 3 km lasting approximately 1 hour, and the longest trek of 4.5 km taking around 1.5 hours. Guests are free to choose one of these three options. Afterward, we’ll sail to Taka Makassar for relaxation on the beach and swimming. This beautiful island is located in the middle of the ocean and has been a popular tourist destination since 2017.
Ending Point
Our next stop is Manta Point to see manta rays. If we’re lucky, we may spot some of them during snorkeling. The largest manta rays can measure up to 3 meters in length and usually feed on plankton. Our final stop before returning to Labuan Bajo town is Siaba Island, known for its turtle sightings. Turtles can be found under the table coral or spotted while swimming.
