Flores and Komodo Island Tour 12 Days 11 Nights

Diamond Komodo Tour offers both Flores Island Tour and Komodo Island Tour, providing our clients with incredible experiences exploring the Komodo National Park aboard local wooden boats. The boat journey takes you from one destination to another, allowing you to relax and breathe in the fresh air on the upper deck. It’s also an excellent opportunity to discover Flores Island, known for its unique characteristics in the Lesser Sunda Islands. The people on this island are warm and welcoming to foreigners as long as they respect the local culture and customs.

Tour Program

Meet our guide at your hotel or the airport, then proceed to the pier to board the wooden boat heading to Rinca Island. Rinca is the second-largest island in the Komodo National Park, home to ancient dinosaurs – the Komodo Dragons. A park ranger will guide you during the trek, providing information about the flora and fauna on the island. Afterward, head to Kalong Island to witness thousands of flying foxes emerging from the mangrove forest. These nocturnal animals fly to Flores Island or nearby areas in search of fruits at sunset. Anchor the boat for an overnight stay around Rinca Island.

Early morning trekking on Komodo Island allows you to observe the active Komodo Dragons. They are usually active from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a period of sleep during the night. Sail to Pink Beach for snorkeling and beach relaxation. After snorkeling, head to Taka Makassar for another snorkeling session, where you can enjoy underwater scenery and perhaps spot turtles. Continue to Manta Point for snorkeling with manta rays. Manta Point is known for its strong currents, so follow the current during snorkeling to avoid exhaustion. Stay overnight around Manta Point.

Early morning hike on Gili Lawa Darat offers stunning sunrise and sunset views. The trek, although challenging with no stairs, rewards you with an incredible bay view. For photographers, this island is a paradise for capturing breathtaking shots. Return to the boat for breakfast and sail to Siaba Island for turtle snorkeling. Continue to Sabayur Island for more snorkeling. Sabayur is renowned for its diverse marine life and beautiful coral reefs.
