Our guide will welcome you at Komodo harbor and then take you to the briefing point to receive information on the dos and don’ts from the park ranger. During the trek, our guide will lead and explain everything to you. You will walk in the shade, and don’t forget to keep your eyes on both the left and right sides of the trail, as sometimes you might spot a Komodo Dragon hiding while hunting. At times, you may encounter Komodo Dragons in the tamarind forest, which is their hunting ground. In this area, there are water-filled holes deliberately created by the park authorities because it’s challenging for animals in the park to find water during the dry season. Therefore, animals come to drink water around noon, and that’s when Komodo Dragons hunt them.
